BOARDING CONTRACT
Thank you for choosing Denise’s Delightful Dookers Ferret Rescue as your ferret(s) Home away from Home while you are away.
DDDFR will take full responsibility for your ferret(s) while in our care and make sure that he/they are as comfortable as possible. We promise to keep them in safe, clean and in spacious quarters while they are here, play with them and feed them as described by you, the owner. If your ferret(s) becomes seriously ill during his/her stay we will do everything that is necessary to get medical attention at once. We will do everything we can to contact your Veterinarian. In the event your Vet is too far away or can not be reached, we will proceed to take your ferret(s), at owners expense, to Covington Animal Hospital (253) 631-8616, Animal Hospital of Newport Hills (425) 643-1170 or Alpine Animal Hospital (425) 392-8888, which is open 24 hours. By signing below, you agree, as owner of the above named ferret(s), DDDFR representatives have the authority to make any decisions concerning the well being of your ferret(s) in the event that you or your emergency contact cannot be reached and that the bill will be paid by you the owner. DDDFR will not be responsible for any medical problems past or present that are not brought to our attention.
You, as the owner of the ferret(s) specified above, will be responsible for any damages done by your ferret(s) while staying at DDDFR.
All ferrets are boarded or otherwise cared for by me without liability on my part for loss or damage from disease, death, running away, theft, fire, injury to persons, other pets, or property by said pet, or other unavoidable causes, due diligence and care having been exercised.
If a ferret(s) arrives at Ferret Camp and is found to have fleas and/or ticks, he/they will have Revolution applied at the owner’s expense. ($15.00 charge/per ferret)
The ferret(s) is not to be taken off the premises except by the consent of the owner.
I agree to
the terms of this agreement as owner of above named pet(s), and also agree
that 75% of the payment is due immediately and the balance payable upon
departure of boarding services. DDDFR shall have, and hereby granted a lien
on the ferret(s) for any and all unpaid charges resulting from boarding your
ferret(s) at DDDFR. Owner hereby agrees that in the event the boarding fees
are not paid when due in accordance with this contract, the ferret becomes
the property of DDDFR and Owner specifically waives all statutory or legal
rights to the contrary. The ferret may be disposed of at the sole
discretion of DDDFR.
Long-term boarding (over 30 days) requires 90% of the boarding fee paid in
advance. Balance is due upon pickup.
Short-term boarding requires 75% of the boarding fee paid in advance.
